Josephine is available for readings, commissions, reviewing, mentoring, workshops, editing, University level teaching and collaborations of all kinds. Work she has done includes:

  • BBC-sponsored poetry project in Nenthead Primary School 2002
  • East Cumbria Countryside Project commission 'Spells of the Raven' from An Accessible Paradise ed. Dick Capel
  • Riddle in Stone, in collaboration with architectural stonemason Charlie Gurrey, commissioned by Roche Court Sculpture Garden 2008 and seen above right.
  • Holme Wood poetry workshops for the National Trust 2006
  • USA tour reading, teaching, lecturing 2007 - responses to an appearance in St. Paul, Minnesota.
  • Lancaster Litfest mentoring 2007
  • Lancaster Litfest textfilms Finding a Language in collaboration with film-maker Simon Wainwright 2008
  • Lecturer, University of Cumbria Creative Writing
  • Visiting professor at Principia College Illinois and others 2007
  • Readings at venues all over the UK including Wells-next- the-Sea, Ledbury, Keswick, Cockermouth, Newcastle, London, to name a few.
  • The Wordsworth Trust provided a reading guide to accompany Josephine's 2008 reading.

Josephine has collaborated on numerous occasions with composers, choreographers, singers and other performers. Recently she has collaborated with harp player Rebecca Joy Sharp at the Wordsworth Trust and at the Blue Bell Bookshop in Penrith.

Josephine is currently collaborating with painter Lionel Playford and film maker Alastair Simmons on the project Earth Journey.
